Nascar Qualify Oct/10/2013 North Carolina!!

So I was just getting caught up on the qualify race from earlier yesterday and I watch the qualify and prcatice races every week on tv. So that's nothing new for me but I've never seen them fight so hard to get the pole like they did with this qualify. And for those of you that sren't into NASCAR, the qualify is what determines the starting order for that weeks race. And the pole is first place in that weeks race.

Now this is what happened in this weeks qualify race, it was down to the last five drivers, which were Dale Earnhardt Jr, Greg Biffle, Jimmy Johnson, Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon. So Dale Jr, went first out of those five and he almost got the pole but he ended up getting second place instead of getting the pole. Then Greg Biffle came after him and got the pole.

Then came Jimmy Johnson and he to almost got the pole but then he took second place from Dale Jr, so then it was Kevin Harvick turn and he took the pole from Greg Biffle

But before Kevin could even get out of his car after taking the pole from Greg Biffle Jeff Gordon came out of nowhere and took the pole. And what made it such a big deal is that Jeff Gordon was the last driver to qualify.

And I think that everybody thought that it was Kevin harvick pole to take and because Kevin has been doing so good lately. And Jeff hasn't been doing do good, so when he came in and got that pole it was a little shocking to everybody watching. But in good ways though.

But I think that all of us NASCAR fans are probably happy that Jeff Gordon got this weeks pole for a couple reasons. One being that he needs a break, he's been working hard to have a comeback this year in NASCAR. But can never seem to catch a break. And the biggest reason is because the race this week in North Carolina is considered to be a big race. So I say good job Jeff and well deserved! Congrats!
