You Live And You Learn: Life Goes On!

Another one bites the dust, so I tried to start a new friendship with a person that I thought was my friend way back in high school. But I just learned that she was never a real friend of mine. And she lied to me for no reason at all instead of just being a woman and being real about how she really felt about me. And I don't get people that are like that, just be honest about things and to people. There's no need to lie to people, especially when they are being nothing but honest and real with you. And i told her that I wouldn't write about her anymore here on my blog but my blog is a place where I vent and share parts of my life with my readers. Good, bad and everything in between. So I needed to vent about this situation also, so with that being said I'm so disappointed that I so called myself trying to reach out with a person that I thought was my real friend way back when.

Truth: If The Shoe Fits

So the friend that I said inspired my last posting I guess got mad at me because of my last blog posting and said that I haven't changed. So that got me to thinking and just with her making that one statement, it showed me that maybe she never really was my true friend all those years ago. Because if she was she would of accepted me all those years ago and right now for ME. THE GOOD, BAD AND UGLY! You can't like a person for the good parts of them and then not like them for the bad parts. You either accept a person for who/how they are or you don't. And it's pretty much as simple as that and I could say that their are things that I don't like about her but I'm not fake. So I accepted her for who/how she was and still is today.

Reunited

I have great news, me and one of my old high school friends Lacey just reunited tonight, about an hour ago. Something told me to do a Facebook search for her and to my amazement I found her. I sent her a friends request and a massage and she responded back to my message a few minutes later. We exchanged numbers and have been texting for the last hour. And it's been like no time has passed at all. Mind you now, it's been almost eleven years since we graduated from high school and that's how long it's been since we last talked.
So for us to just pick up where we left off is crazy, especially after all these years. But I'm so happy that we found each other and she seems to be just as happy. And we promised each other that we would never lose touch again and make time to catch back up with each other. So yet another new journey for me and I'm more then excited to see where this new journey takes me and her. And I'm so happy to have my good friend back!
