OK so Christina Aguilera performed at a Michael Jackson tribute concert last week in wales. And she's been getting blasted every since then because of crazy things like her hair, her weight and what she wore while performing. But what I don't understand is why ANY of those things even matter when for one it WASN'T about her. Secondly when there were numerous artist such as Jennifer Hudson, Chris brown and the black eyes peas that back out at the last minute. And for uncalled for reasons at that but yet Christina is getting blasted because of how she looked.
But she actually took the time to go there and perform for Michael Jackson, so show how much she loves him, how much she looks up to him, how great of an artist he was, to honor him and lastly to pay tribute to him? She didn't let ANYTHING like personal reasons or production or ANYTHING get in the way of her doing right by Michael Jackson. Like Jennifer Hudson, chris brown and the black eyed peas DID! Also at the end of the day it WASN'T ABOUT HER, so I simply DON'T understand why or how anything other then Michael Jackson matters. When it comes to this tribute or ANY tributes for him!
Christina Aguilera NEVER forgot that without Michael Jackson she wouldn't be where she is today in her career or who she is as an artist. Unlike people like Chris brown, Jennifer Hudson and the black eyed peas. By backing out at the last minute, that's EXACTLY WHAT THEY ALL SHOWED. When NO ARTIST that has came about after Michael Jackson would be who they are or where they are WITHOUT MICHAEL JACKSON. AND AT THE END OF THE DAY JUST BEING ASKED TO EVER PERFORM FOR ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH HIM IS A HONOR.
SO THERE IS NEVER AN EXCUSE TO EVER BACK OUT OF PERFORMING FOR HIM OR FOR A TRIBUTE FOR HIM. Unless it's life or death and it CLEARLY WASN'T WITH ANYBODY THAT BACKED OUT OF PERFORMING AT THIS TRIBUTE. SO SHAME OF JENNIFER HUDSON, CHRIS BROWN, BLACK EYED PEAS AND ANYBODY ELSE THAT BACKED OUT.ITS WASN'T about Christina Aguilera's weight, hair or what she wore. it was SIMPLY about her honoring Michael Jackson, THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERED AT THE END OF THE DAY.
And I know that Michael is looking down and he's so proud of her and so happy to know that she cared that much for him. So I say to ALL of you that have been blasting Christina Aguilera. And also that I know that Michael Jackson is looking down and is ashamed of people treating Christina Aguilera like this because she did right by him! And shame on ALL the artist that back out of this tribute to Michael Jackson, YOU ALL ARE THE ONES THAT SHOULD FOREVER BE GETTING BLASTED!!
